      I installed adguard home on pfsense to see how it woks, and it is working nice, but on the negative side pfsense cannot check for updates.
      maybe something with DNS resolving? I have no clue whats wrong, can you help me fix this problem?

        @camagur, what does it refer to? could you show the error you get or some other kind of details that can help me understand..

          I cannot find any related logs, but I can tell you the settings on pfsense and adguard, pfsense DNS resolver is listening to port 5353 on all interfaces, DNSSEC enabled, and Static DHCP enabled, on adguard I have DNS listening to 192.168.1.1:53 (pfsense LAN IP adress), Upstream DNS servers: https://dns10.quad9.net/dns-query (default) and Bootstrap DNS servers default also.
