      Newb here…

I'm installing pfsense 1.2 to the hard drive of a cisco 500 series content engine.

Everything goes great until I get to the point where I must reboot and remove the cd.

      I am then greeted with:

      **F1 Linux
      F5 Drive 1

      Default: F1**

The machine then beeps every few seconds and will not accept any input from the keyboard.

Any advice? What am I doing wrong?

Found the problem. These cisco devices have a simm card in them that it tries to boot off. Pulled it out and now all is good.
