@qinghua907 I currently have turbo & speedstep enabled and it's booting fine. Haven't checked yet if turbo is functioning correctly as I've been dealing with an issue of pfsense loading the i350 addin module ports first (ports 0-7) and the onboard second (ports 8-15) and the ports on the module don't seem to be working correctly.

I'd say it's not completely running right:

I suggest you modify it on the original BIOS of m470. Maybe it's better

That looks correct. 2901MHz indicates turbo is active. It will never actually show the turbo speed since it's dynamic per core and dependent on thermal performance.

So the M470 is now up with an E3-1245 v6 processor with turbo on with no issues with the CPU, still looking into the module ports not communicating:

Thanks @stephenw10 for the info on the ports. For anyone else with an 8 port add on module the ports are not in the order they are labeled on the physical device. Add on module ports are as follows:
                Top row: 4 5 6 7
                Bottom row: 0 1 2 3

@qinghua907 I've tested and it seems to work fine.

Last weekend, I flash the BIOS of m470. Now I can enter the BIOS, set Rui frequency and set USB startup. It's very good. Thank you!

@hangmansnoose001380 Can you DM me the BIOS-File too? I have been looking for the original bios for a long time, but have not found anything on the internet.

                          Thx

@johann31 Flashed the new firmware yesterday, BIOS can now be entered without the password, thank you!

                              You used an external programmer?

                                  Hello all,
Is the unlocked BIOS image for the M470 posted anywhere or is it only available via PM ?
Also, can the BIOS only be flashed by an external programmer ? Or can we complete the BIOS flash via a secondary bootable mSATA with FreeDOS, etc etc ?
                                  :)

Guess I'll just keep running my M470's as-is for now

I guess this might be more of a global query, but who out there might have a confirmed-good unlocked BIOS image file for the M370 and/or the M470 ?
I would like to acquire a copy of both, so if there are forum dwellers out there who could send them to me.... That would be fantastic.
I already have the EZP2019 USB programmer for 24 25 93 bios, but I could also easily order the CH341A USB programmer for 24 25 bios if all-of-whom-has-already-flashed the M370/M470 feel it is safer to use for this task.
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can assist or offer feedback on this quest.
                                        :)

@mookatroid I don't think the specific programmer matters but the steps above have only been tested with the CH341a so it's really up to you if you want to take the risk with another programmer/programming software.
