@stephenw10 is not a modem specifically. After reading the posts that the friend mentioned here, I realized that I would have to have an antenna for the chip to work. It seemed so obvious, didn't it?

I'm trying to use a wireless card as an "antenna".
Tested with an Askey WLL3140-D4
Model no. AR5BXB61 (AR5006EG Mini PCIe reference)

How to find out what the init string is?

Nothing you have listed there appears to be a modem. So there is no 'init string'.

Are you trying to setup WIFI?

For any card such WiFi (Wireless LAN) or LTE (Modem)
you will need even a qualified antenna, that is matching
to that hardware. And on top of all you may need the
right antenna matching the right "standard" (miniPCIe or M.2).

Antennas for M.2 hardware are different from the antennas
for miniPCIe hardware, this is important because they are
grounding the cards and work well only the right MHF
standard was chosen.

The mainboard is ok.
The card is an miniPCIe WiFi card and not a modem.
Be careful connecting and empower the card, without
connecting any antenna right on.

This card here is a modem called Sierra Wireless MC7710

I need a miniPCIe modem, not just any miniPCIe card.
I'm going to buy a miniPCIe modem and do new tests!
And what about the init string, how do I find out the specific one for the modem I use?

Most modems will work with the included default string.

If you go into troubles you may need it or let us say another
then the "default" one.
