Disabling internal storage on Netgate SG-2220
-
Is it possible to disable the internal storage? I have installed an msata storage now since the internal storage has died. The died storage causes slower boot times spamming following message repeatedly:
(da0:umass-sim0:0:0:0): READ(10). CDB: 28 00 00 70 ff c1 00 00 04 00 (da0:umass-sim0:0:0:0): CAM status: SCSI Status Error (da0:umass-sim0:0:0:0): SCSI status: Check Condition (da0:umass-sim0:0:0:0): SCSI sense: MEDIUM ERROR asc:11,0 (Unrecovered read error) (da0:umass-sim0:0:0:0): Error 5, Unretryable error (da0:umass-sim0:0:0:0): READ(10). CDB: 28 00 00 70 ff fe 00 00 01 00 (da0:umass-sim0:0:0:0): CAM status: SCSI Status Error (da0:umass-sim0:0:0:0): SCSI status: Check Condition (da0:umass-sim0:0:0:0): SCSI sense: MEDIUM ERROR asc:11,0 (Unrecovered read error) (da0:umass-sim0:0:0:0): Error 5, Unretryable error
I would like to disable it at hardware level, maybe even de-soldering that chip if its the only possible way. Can someone assist?

Removed the emmc now, no more shitty error messages. Problem solved.

@admin please move thread to official hardware board.
