random mac and VPN Ip

How much would it cost me to have a custom script wrote to change my Mac and VPN ip every 24 hours? And then have the machine reboot?
I've been infiltrated through my browser multiple times. Digital harassment. Once the OS and browser has been compromised I have to reload the OS or run it live. Streaming through Youtube or Facebook seems to open the door, even when using Brave Browser.
We live in strange times.

@nickbs not sure what you think changing your mac would do? Nor your IP to be honest.. Or even what vpn you go through.. If your browser is compromised, this has little to do with any of that.
Maybe run some security software on your machine, maybe use some ad filtering so you stop clicking how you have been selected for the 1 million dollar prize ads, or some dns filtering.. But your browser being compromised could happen no matter what your external IP is, and for sure has zero to do with your mac address, nor would any sort of vpn protect you from such things.

@johnpoz I just want to be a big pain in the butt to the feds.. Don't worry Feds.. I'm not voting.. Don had his chance, and I didn't vote the last time either. Crazy train world.

So its the gov infecting your browser? <rolleyes> If you honestly thought that - you think changing your mac or ip or vpn going to stop them? Why would thy not just use the "backdoor" they have installed in your OS? Or maybe they are tracking you with the tracking chips they installed when you got your polio vac when you were a kid?

Reasoning aside; most VPNs will give you a random IP address each time you connect. I'm sure you could do that with a one line cronjob.

@stephenw10 Interesting.. I did notice that I get a random IP when connection to the VPN.. But it seems that someone is targeting my modem ISP IP.. Someone keeps resetting my modem..
I know of others having the same issue if they post something online that is not allowable.. or they do it to interrupt Live streams on Youtube.. World new Report Today is one of them.I notice that Microsoft Edge can find your location regardless of having a VPN.. I have no idea how to run or build scripts for PFSense. My ISP is xfinity so I'm sure that they have pipeline taps all over the place.

Sounds like you're not actually routing all your traffic over the VPN.

@stephenw10 well I did build my system out of an old computer and a Nic card.. it sits before the modem. I think that I am.. you still have a public IP when connection to the ISP? Right? I never did a tracert.. I'm a novice at best.

Yes you still have a public IP that's required to access the VPN server. If it's configured correctly though the only traffic from the firewall should be the VPN traffic. That means only the ISP sees traffic from the your public IP. Anything external only sees the remote VPN IP.

@stephenw10 True but like I said,, Microsoft Edge browser can find a way around the VPN with out setting up a local town.. I've seen it happen.. It gives me the weather of my local town. I'm not sure how it works. It seems that brave browser can be hijacked to do the same thing.. IMO.. And once they have my IP to the ISP.. they can flood ping my Modem or send a command to reset it.. I've talked to xfinity about it and they said that it must be a connection problem but I know that it's not.

Your VPN provider likely has a leak-test page of some sort you should be able to check.
