@fmotta I can’t tell you what happened but https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/sg-3100/reinstall-pfsense.html is probably the fastest solution.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

            thanks
I think I did the right thing and ordered
            netgate-installer-aarch64.img.gz

            Should I:

            1. Unzip
            2. 'dd' this to a thumbdrive
            3. Install to usb port
            4. power on?

Hmmm seems the installer does not work for 3100

Ah, I suppose that makes sense, in hindsight. Use the classic method I linked, then.

                    Umm thanks?
All I need is to boot the system to get the NDI so they will send me the image so I can boot and SEE the NDI

I opened the case immediately. I await a response with a download link to pfSense-plus-Netgate-3100-recovery-24.03-RELEASE-armv7.img.gz

The NDI is on the label, the serial number (also on the label) will also identify the unit for TAC.

And, yes, there is no Net Installer for armv7. Yet.
