Hello fellow netgate community members. Can you please help I recently purchased a new AP and the system will not utilize UPnP. I use this AP for guest Wi-Fi so it’s basically allows. Any any to the world previously UMP worked with my internal compex card.

So the new system had to use a VLAN Interface set up, which works perfectly for everything outside of Upnp on the Xbox normally that is successful and it would The tunnel being established however, currently with the new AP set up it does not utilize UPnp anymore for some reason.

I wouldn't expect an AP to have any sort of filtering unelss maybe it's MAC based. It should be a layer2 device just moving traffic to the 2100. UPnP doesn't care what the interfaces are. As long as your WAN has a public IP it should work.

        Check the UPnP status.

@JonathanLee did you set UPnP to listen on your new vlan interface?

I found the issue I changed the OPT1 name and it would not change in the config.xml so it does not bind to the new name, I set it back to OPT1 after seeing that the config.xml did not recognize this as selected for upnp section of the code and it worked.

It is like the name change messed up somehow
