Hmm, you should be able to remove it even if it comes back. Does the alert date/time change?

Try logging out and back in before removing it.

@stephenw10 The alert date/time do not change.

Logging out and logging back in do not help.

Hmm, the alert cannot be cleared? The button just appears to do nothing?

Does it exist in /tmp/notices/notices.serial ?

@stephenw10 Yes, the message appears in notices.serial. I gave Mark all as Read one last-ditch attempt, and this time the alert cleared.

            Bizarre.

            Thank you for your help.

I have 6456 of these error messages and they started when i decided to invalidate my free + licence by changing hardware whilst I make the choice to downgrade to CE, purchase another year of plus or move to a different software solution

it's logging one every 30 seconds

marking them all as read worked but it was 4 days worth

Hmm, so once you were able to clear the alert it didn't reoccur?

Just checked and back up to 300 alerts, but this could be caused by the home assistant plugin for me, it’s set to poll every 30 seconds but no time to test that theory tonight

What is the actual alert it's showing?

Mmm, OK probably the HA pluggin then, yes, if it checks for updates.

Interesting do you see 'Subscription expired' or 'system unregistered' in System Update?

If you changed the hardware I'd expect the latter but I'd expect a different alert in that case.

sorry for the delay, i disabled the HA plugin last week and checking today i'm upto 7400 odd messages

i think it's my install though as i can't check any packages for install either, so going to look into fixing that

Did your NDI change? Did you add/remove hardware?

Send me your NDI and/or order number in chat and I can check it.

I am also getting the same error and I've tried the same things from this post. I've bought PFsense Plus and so I did a upgrade to the Plus and I now get this error plus I get errors of certs expiring.

                                        You're seeing?:
                                        check_upgrade (1): unknown error

Do you see packages available in the package manager?

Send me your NDI in chat and I'll check it.
