Pfsense new install no software packages available

@adrianp918 this is an pkg service issue, just run the bellow command in PFSense shell to solve:
pkg-static bootstrap -f
This will manually bootstrap pkg service, then go to System > Package manager and click on Available Packages, it shoud be shown now.

I tried this as I have the same issue with package manager on PF sense community edition
The command pkg-static bootstrap -f returns with this output -
pkg(8) is already installed. Forcing reinstallation through pkg(7).
The package management tool is not yet installed on your system.
Please set ASSUME_ALWAYS_YES=yes environment variable to be able to bootstrap in non-interactive (stdin not being a tty)
Please let me know how to set this variable. Thanks Stu -

I have same issue.
I cannot see any packages in package manager.
In this location, /usr/local/share/pfSense/pkg/repos/pfSense-repo.conf I can see pfSense-repo.abi -
i have the same issue, no packages are showing in the package manager and i cant not update.
dns is working but srv records not resolving to files.netgete.*

Did they move to RC mode for 24.08?

@da_Beast yeh so I had to reinstall router with settings I had backed up. Had to do a request to get an offline installer as I have ppoe. Was abug in the old version I had . Recommend to reinstall and re flash firmware. Bit of a pain but working solid now.

What version of CE are you running?
Is this on physical hardware or are you running a VM? If VM, what hypervisor?

2.7.0-ReleaseYes, maybe a year ago. Been a while since I looked but I have packages installed so it worked at some point.
Hardware. HP prebuilt 7700t

I would upgrade it to the latest 2.7.2 and see if that resolves your issue.

I ran the upgrade in the command line
pfSense-upgrade -yand am on 2.7.2 now.
All packages seems to be populating again.
