proxmox arm installation error
-
I get the error in the picture
The error occurs immediately after the disc selection in the installation, when it will pull the packages from the server, there are no problems with the connection
I have tried the following but with no result- certctl rehash
- pkg-static -d update
- pkg-static upgrade -fy pfSense-repoc

You are running Proxmox on ARM hardware?

yes , raspberry pi 5

Hmm, interesting. Not sure we ever seen anyone do that with emulated x86 hardware. Which I assume you're using and not the aarch64 install image?
Check the install logs after it fails like that.

I use exactly the following image
netgate-installer-v1.0-RC-aarch64-20240919-1435.img
after disc selection it should pull and load from netgate servers but this error message pops up

Ah, yes that would be expected to fail. That image is only for the 1100 and 2100 Netgate devices.
Can it emulate x86 hardware instead?

Is there even official support from proxmox on arm - I didn't think so.

:) I expected something like this to happen.
I made a few changes as in the picture, but it still doesn't work

proxmox is running stable on raspberry pi 5 with version 8.3.1

Can you select an x86 CPU type there? It appears to offer other x86 parts for emulation.
If you can then the amd64 image should work. Probably.
