Does pfSense support the Sangoma (or any other) T1 WAN interface card?  Has anyone successfully used pfSense on Soekris hardware?  I've currently got a T1 and want to build a router to backup or replace my existing Cisco since they won't renew my support contract and I also want to add a cable connection to the office for a backup/load balance connection.

      thanks

Are there any plans to add support for T1 interfaces?

No. Too many devices, too little time, not enough developers interested.

Gotcha.  Well let me ask if this is possible.  I've got a dual lan router in place right now with a DMZ setup on one of the interfaces and my private LAN on the other.

              RTR
                      /
                    /
                  DMZ  LAN (nat)

Can I setup pf such that I can move my DMZ behind pf so I can take advantage of the load balancing and failover features in pf?

              RTR
                          |
                        PF
                        /
                        /
                      DMZ  LAN (nat)

Some type of unnumbered setup?  The DMZ interface would esentially have to be on the same subnet as the router/pf subnet.  Wouldn't give me any backup if my router died but I have an extra router with a single interface I could use for that if I could get everything behind pf.  Suppose I could setup a dummy subnet for the DMZ and use NAT but I would like to avoid having to redo my DMZ if possible and I have a VPN server on the DMZ currently and don't want to hassle with any potential NAT issues.

thanks for all of your help

Which one?  Can I do the unnumbered trick or do I have to use static NATs to setup a DMZ network?
