          after upgrade pfsense 2.0 with installed VMware tools
          to pfsense 2.1 it's crashes on detect LAN card
          if replace .virtualDev = "vmxnet" on standard "Vlance" they boot normaly

            Aha. A bit more info before post is generally not a bad idea…
            There is no pfSense 2.0 or 2.1
            The current release is 1.2 and there is a 1.2.1beta and a 1.3alpha.

            A quick google search brought this http://unix.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/FreeBSD/questions/2008-02/msg02208.html

            It seems you cannot use the precompiled vmtools and have to build your own.
            Maybe someone could precompile them again and put a link to the new binaries into the sticky.
