hrmm thats typical of something not resolving or connectivity problems - try disable unbound and enable dnsforwarder (dnsmasq) and then try reinstall the unbound package.

Actually I am now using Google public dns (8.8.8.8) in PF… So it should be no problem with the resolving since I can open most of website here.

Can you tell me what's the web that Unbound is going to resolve and I can try to visit it directly from my pc? We will see if we can open it or not.

              Anyway, thanks for your help!

I tired a backup file in the past and install the latest version of PF and Unbound. it seems no problem.

But when I tried to enable the Unbound, it give the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_ipaddrv6() in /usr/local/pkg/unbound.inc on line 769

I removed the records in DNS forwarder then reinstall the package, it seems no problem any more.

however there comes a new problem, I can't visit the Unbound DNS Status Page. When I opened that page, it comes back to the Unbound DNS settings page..

                  Any ideas of this?

                  Thanks a lot for reply~~:)

Well, I think I solved the issue..

Before install the package, I need to disable DNS forwarder firstly.
Then install the package and it should be all right.

One more question, I found I can't add any record in DNS forwarder, otherwise it will break the Unbound DNS.

So where should I add record now?

bah! Nope i see the problem. In the effort to support IPv6 I go and break non-IPv6 installs. I'll fix.
