      Hi,

I'm running the latest build of 2.1 (2.1-RC1 (i386) built on Fri Aug 30 13:39:25 EDT 2013) on my Watchguard x750 an whenever I start playing YouTube videos via my iPhone or iPad, my LAN port times out.

It's not 100% every time, but 8 or 9 times out of 10.

Other than the stock install I have:

      • IPv6 via he.net
      • Snort (enabled or disabled, makes no difference)
      • VLAN100 on the LAN port, but nothing using it

I did read the http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/PfSense_on_Watchguard_Firebox about the timeouts so I've tried disabling the

      • Hardware Checksum Offloading
      • Hardware TCP Segmentation Offloading
      • Hardware Large Receive Offloading

      but they've made no difference.

The Watchguard is plugged into an Airport Extreme which is also acting as the access point, so I'm eliminating as many extra interfaces and devices as possible.

This is happening a lot more recently, I'm don't remember it happening anywhere near as much on the 2.0.x series. Have there been some fundamental changes to the driver?

      Any pointers appreciated.

      Cheers,

      Sven

I assume you mean the X700? The X750e doesn't have any re interfaces.

There hasn't been any progress on the re(4) timeouts as far as I know I'm afraid.
As you may have read it seems very dependent on what you have it connected to. You could try putting a switch between your Airport and the Watchguard box as a test.
