I just replicated this.  We'll check it out.

We are making final adjustments in this area too.  ;)

Hello, new to the pfSense forums.

Im not sure if this is the same error im getting, but mine states…

            Downloading package configuration file... done.
            Saving updated package information... done.
Downloading ntop and its dependencies... done.
Checking for successful package installation... failed!

            Installation aborted.

That is while installing ntop. I installed it fine last week, but after playing, I reloaded pfSense on the same machine, same settings, but now I cannot install it.

Anyone know whats going on? Thanks in advance!  ;D

Have you found a solution? I have had the same problem mentioned above since I installed PFSense in december.

EDIT: I upgraded to the latest version of PFSense and the problem is still there.

I am brand new to pfsense and am having the same issue installing extra packages.  Is there a way to get them and install them manually via cli?
                    thanks,
                    Jim

Well, I'm having the same behavior here.  I'm running on 1.0-BETA1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT-2-8-06 version, and I never had this problem before.

Do you have any advices? should I make a fresh install??

                        Thanks in advance people!!

                          Working fine here:

                          Executing custom_php_resync_config_command()…done.
                          Writing configuration... done.
                          Starting service.

                          Installation completed.

                          Try reinstalling from scratch.

Works for me.  You have to download the snapshot version from the sullrich directory, not the 1.0.
