there may be test images soon but they will be very, very, very alpha. Do not expect anything to work yet.

There are no packages yet, some features are very broken, some are in need of update/development, etc.

It is not something that anyone should consider running outside of a lab for a while.

It is the way forward, but it's not ready.

Yes, JimP is reporting "features" like this to himself (and the other devs I guess) - https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/3353 - Clicking "Reload" at the end of the setup wizard causes a panic+reboot - it is probably worth getting the thing to run past the end of the setup wizard before bothering to put anything out there for others to play with  ;)

Yes we have some images we're testing internally as we get at least the basics hashed out. We may enable snapshots in the near term but that is mostly so it's more automated and easier to test as things get committed.

pf is quite broken (as the bug reports I've managed to file so far show) and things get even more broken in other ways after a gitsync to come up to current master code.

So yeah, as mentioned: Here be dragons, at least until our Dragon Eradication/Vanquish™ team can clean it up.

This is the wrong thread to ask in. But short answer: FreeBSD 10.x has some, I do not believe we build it in, and I am not sure we will have any support for it any time soon in the GUI. It requires several extra kernel options and a non-default knob set to enable support during buildworld/kernel. Plus as far as I'm aware, we don't have any hardware to test against. So unless some serious donations of said hardware and monetary funding happens, it's unlikely. Even then it may be after 2.2.

                          already tested.

Seems OK (about the speed of a FW-7541, really) except for some throughput tests over TCP, which suck.  I blame the ethernet driver.
