Yeah - If you had SSH open on the LAN or WAN you would be all set.
I guess you didn't forward any SSH ports on the WAN then?

I'm sure there is an embedded expert out there who will tell you how to fix it.
This is why I like my pfsense to be as small as possible…  With usb ports for a dvd-rom and at least a vga port...
                At least.

DB9 is the serial port.  No idea about your computer.  Do you see anything if it's plugged in serial and you restart the pfSense??

Also, I'm sure netgate can talk you through what you need to do.

This is probably a bad idea….
                            however...

I notice that that board has 3 (Realtek RTL8111E) ports...

You wouldn't happen to have a computer handy with a couple of realtek NICs that will accept an msata?

Please install heat spreader as described in the prior section.

                              • Insert a boot device (SD card, mSATA SSD, USB stick, or PXE through LAN).
                              • Connect serial port to a PC through null modem cable (RXD / TXD crossed over). Set terminal
                                emulator to 115200 8N1.
                              • Connect Ethernet as needed.
                              • Connect a 12V DC power supply to the DC jack. Power supply should be able to supply at least 18W for some margin. To avoid arcing, please plug in the DC jack first, then plug the adapter into mains.
The board should now power on. All three LEDs will light during BIOS POST, then the system will try to boot. You should see BIOS messages on the serial console. Press F12 for boot device selection:
                                  Build date: Apr  1 2014
                                  System memory size: 2017 MB
                                  Press F12 for boot menu.
                                  Select boot device:
                                  1. USB MSC Drive  8.07
                                  2. iPXE (PCI 00:00.0)
                                  3. Payload [setup]
                                  4. Payload [memtest]

yes but I accidentally removed the lan interface trying to get dhcp working

can you give me your public IP (in a pm) and plug the wan into the PUBLIC internet?

I want to see what it looks like from here if its possible.

Also, this thing has 3 ports?

What about the other port?  Its not functioning?

Buy a USB to mSATA adapter and get an image for pfsense for that device and size drive and image it to the msata maybe…

I'm not a serial interface loving guy.
