I can't ssh to the box no interfaces are working. Last from log line is:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied foreach() in /etc/inc/xmlparse.inc on line 214

What would you be your suggestion please?

I have exactly the same issue, No valid interfaces found, when I upgrade from 2.1.5 I can see the old Vlans configured but no real interfaces, re0 and em0 both appear in 2.1.

        no network access at all?

        Any Ideas?

This happens even after a complete fresh rebuild,

Maybe the drivers don't find any NIC drivers on your system. Try a BIOS factory defaults.

Completely dead with 2.2, this box has worked for the last 3 or 4 years flawlessly, and with 2.1.5 still does.

Please any ideas, anything I can do to get info out of the install to help with diags?

Anyone else using a Intel D510MO mini-itx board?

                regards

Are you using 64-bit pfSense or i386? Read this, related to Atom CPU: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=84679.msg481942#msg481942

My system is i386 and "cpu doesn, t support long mode". I reinstalling 2.2 from CD with some packages still out of order.  :'(
2.2 upgrade was painful in any case!

I had am having the exact same issue. upgraded from 2.15 on an intel atom x86 and after the reboot no nics found.

When you reinstalled from scratch did it work?

I want to reinstall from scratch but I need to backup my settings and config and since I can't get the system to boot without the nics I don't know how.

                      And tips?

                      Thanks

Yes worked for me on 32-bit architecture.
I have backup not the latest one but at least several months old make my life easier. Still looking for SquidGuard & HAVP package to work! I hope that you will get the solution soon.

                        Good luck
