Is there a possibility to have an unofficial beta vhd to test out the machine on Azure?
I would really need that because I want to keep pfSense and don;t move to other firewalls.

I am being pushed to find a solution but I am not able to create a VM with pfSense in Azure yet.

does it mean that ms just has to approve your vm image and list it in the marketplace? or are you still far from that?

Yes. It's well into that process.

Is there any ETA regarding this, or can we help in some ways to push Microsoft?

If I could predict the future, I'd be in Vegas….

Oh wait, I am in Vegas.  Nevermind.

I will be going in production within next month, is there any chance to get the pfsense on azure for that time?

Otherwise I have to deploy my own solution and I would prefer to avoid it if possible. Thank you :)

I'd love to be able to give you a date, but the process is inside Microsoft at this point.

Yes, because thats how long ago we started this process, and updating the image would have derailed things even more.

It will update to 2.3.1 soon.

here are a few hints on how to get started: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=112072.0;topicseen
