      Hello

I've setup my firewall on a VM and I want to use the traffic limiter, I've created two limiter (up/down) and a rule for LAN and used limiters as pipe in/out but it's not working. The bandwidth is still the same.

        Reboot before testing anything there.

Then you'll need to provide some info.

1/ Need to see the entire ruleset for that interface (or at least any rules before this one)
2/ The goal here is? I don't think you want mask "None" if that's supposed to be a per host limit.

there's no other rules, this is the default one on LAN
And another rule for port forwarding on WAN (ftp server)

I need to put limits on certain hosts, and I followed the instructions to set the limiters and that's why the mask is none

And cut off everyone else?  ???

Which instructions? I cannot see any such instructions anywhere. Leaving the mask as "None" will create a guaranteed pipe for matching traffic, not actually enforce any limits.

ok it's my first time so it's a bit confusing, I've a 10 Mb/s bandwidth and want to use it on the psfense and share it on the network but i want some hosts to be limited to 2Mb/s only even it's not used.
what are the steps to do that?

Then I guess you're out of luck.  The guide is clear and it works for others, including myself when I tested it.

Just did a test and speedtest uses ICMP & TCP so you might want to change the protocol to ANY.

I don't think it will fix your issue.

Does it work it you limit the whole LAN interface is it even hitting the limiters goto Diagnostics -> Limiter Info and try a test.

I have my limiter set up as follows and it works fine :-
