I was only getting about 1m throuput with 2.3,3 on 2g  4 core celeron box. Put in passthrough mode and works fine. Currently getting 200+m no problem. Also, firewall any-any doesn't pass all. Most blocked still. Would like to use but need throughput and any-any for now.

        How do you test this?

We do what we must, because we can.

i'd start by not opening up the pfsense webGUI on the wan side & then posting the ip on a public forum.

Thanks but I am more concerned about getting it working right now before I just scrap it.

              @GruensFroeschli:

In place. Between 1g internet feed straight from Provider router and BMJU(basically another router that does NAT and other stuff). Had to bypass firewall and router on Pfsense to get working. Hoping fot 500m+ through put on it. Read docs. No help. About to load something else on it.

Some more details. Really need help or I will give up on PFSense.
                Box:
                Platform pfSense
                CPU Type Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU J1900 @ 1.99GHz
Current: 1992 MHz, Max: 1993 MHz
                4 CPUs: 1 package(s) x 4 core(s)

                firewall: see attachments
Still blocked by default rule. Just want to pass everything for now.

                  We would need useful information.

Post screenshots of firewall rules/nat/gateway/system logs

Some diagnostics like pings/traffic captures might also provide some insight.

Maybe it's a wiring issue? Maybe a duplex issue? Maybe ??

By default, pfsense passes all from Lan.
Is your lansubnet overlapping your modem/router subnet?

Do you have a lot of custom configs in there?  If not, you can try backing up the config and resetting to default.  If it works after a factory default then it's something in your configuration.  You can always restore the config later.  Packages could cause this.  You could have high CPU usage, or QOS throttling, or an IDS issue, or pfBlocker, or a whole host of other things.  We need more details, please.  Packages and Rules would be a good start.

                      Hello
Do you have the opportunity to test with a computer on each interface (PC on WAN - pfsense - PC on LAN) and have some iperf or similar tests between the two PCs  (in passthrough and in firewalled configuration) ?

(mostly ZOTAC CI or CA nano barebones)
