Multi WAN firewall
-
Hi Guys, im struggling to get the failover to work for my two WANS. One is an ADSL connection and the other is a microwave connection. I think it’s a problem with the gateway group, or perhaps firewall rules directing traffic between the gateways. The only connection that I can get to work is whichever is set as default, I’ve selected the gateway switching option. Any help much appreciated. Cheers Eddie

On latest pfSense you set default group instead of WAN... If you want failover you have to make a gateway group and put 2 WAN in it where one of them is tier 1 and other is tier 2... If you want load balance set them as same tier... After that set that group as default and pfSense will do the rest...
