It's possible your chip isn't supported, thus it has no values to return.

Do you see anything in sysctl -a | grep temperature ? Anything in the main system log from amdtemp?

            kldload amdtemp

            ̿' ̿'\̵͇̿̿\з=(◕_◕)=ε/̵͇̿̿/'̿'̿ ̿

If it is loaded then your specific sensor chip is not supported by the module.

                    execute
                    kldstat
if you don't see amdtemp.ko in the list
                    execute
                    kldload amdtemp

if it's already there than "your specific sensor chip is not supported by the module."

I am afraid that "your specific sensor chip is not supported by the module." :)

If it matters that much you could try a 2.5 snapshot. That has a number of 17h related additions over 2.4.4.

@stephenw10 Thank you for the answer. Actually it doesn´t matter enough to assume the risk. I will wait for a new stable release.
