      Hmm, I wouldn't expect that to be affected by the NIC/driver. Unless maybe it has some odd MAC that local-link objects to. Or maybe some hardware off-loading option?

        @stephenw10 I just had to reboot the router for it pickup the IPv6 addresses on the other interfaces. I was hoping to avoid that but I guess not.

          Just added sfxge_load="YES" to /boot/loader.conf.local because I forgot to last night.....

              Worked great. Although I am switching to an Intel card just to make it easier to pass the NIC through to a VM (I am virtualizing pfSense).

                @shaunmccloud good! , I'm setting the negotiation to 1G myself (10g switch hasn't arrived yet) I'm using this card as the up-link to my switch from the pfsense box

                    @shaunmccloud did you have to compile a driver, or just add sfxge_load="YES to the loader.conf ? I tried using this HP 10G card but it was such a mess that I ended up throwing it out lol

                          You only need to add the line to /boot/loader.conf.local. The standard file, /boot/loader.conf, may get overwritten.
