/etc/rc.filter_configure_sync causes traffic hickups
-
Hi!
I've determined /etc/rc.filter_configure_sync is the cause of our hickup problem that is occuring every 15 minutes.
This is the cron entry:
0,15,30,45 * * * * root /etc/rc.filter_configure_syncI have no idea where it comes from. Looking at the backup files, it was appended to cron a year ago, but we started noticing the few second hickup as our office switched to homeoffice. System log tells me it is soem sort of firewall restart/reload . I've tried deletd all the schedules, the cronjob is still there. I'm afraid to remove it manually, since it's a production pfsense. Any idea how to get rid of the hickups?
Thanx -
@marama Yes, i have the same issue with pFsense 2.6.0, The problem is that have a scheduler that can't remove. My only option is remove the cron line on the morning

Have you applied the recommended system patches? Those are in 2.7 already, try that if you can.
