      If you create an OpenVPN client without specifying a password, the board does not boot up again without manual intervention on the console:

      Syncing OpenVPN settings...Enter Auth Password:
      

      Waiting for the user entry on the console blocks the boot process and the device remains unreachable.

      The same is not happening with OPNsense...

        Sorry for the misleading topic name.
        The described issue has nothing to do with upgrade.
        But otherwise I think this is an issue.

          You have an OpenVPN client configured that requires a password and doesn't have one set.
          You can probably just enter anything there to get past it and then setup the client correctly in the gui.

          The only other thing that can appear like that is a password locked certificate but that's far less likely.

          Edit: Oh, this is a bug report?
