      I have a spectrum small biz internet connection (400/25 IIRC) where I have both the usual DHCP wan with NAT and a /29 of public addresses. How far up the Netgate product line do I have to go to get a setup where I can use both networks on one device and not use their router?

        Hi,

        it's not up to you, it's on your ISP... 😉
        the same situation is upon us...
        (we can’t "forget" the ISP CPE, but they provide a good solution)

        ONT + ISP device / 2 IP
        this is one of the IP NATed
        the second is the ISP CPE 4. eth. port = bridge mode

        pfSense is configured with 2 WAN ports, one for NATed IP and the other for direct public IP

        +++edit:
        yeah yes one is dualNAT ☹ with DMZ = half solution, but....😉

        Cats bury it so they can't see it!
        (You know what I mean if you have a cat)

            There is no difference in the available features here. If you can do this on an XG-1541 you will still be able to do it on an SG-1100. Though I would want to go to at least the SG-2100 for a 400Mbps connection.
