usage with spectrum biz with both rfc1918 and public IP block
-
I have a spectrum small biz internet connection (400/25 IIRC) where I have both the usual DHCP wan with NAT and a /29 of public addresses. How far up the Netgate product line do I have to go to get a setup where I can use both networks on one device and not use their router?

Hi,
it's not up to you, it's on your ISP...
the same situation is upon us...
(we can’t "forget" the ISP CPE, but they provide a good solution)ONT + ISP device / 2 IP
this is one of the IP NATed
the second is the ISP CPE 4. eth. port = bridge modepfSense is configured with 2 WAN ports, one for NATed IP and the other for direct public IP
+++edit:
yeah yes one is dualNATwith DMZ = half solution, but....

There is no difference in the available features here. If you can do this on an XG-1541 you will still be able to do it on an SG-1100. Though I would want to go to at least the SG-2100 for a 400Mbps connection.
