    Hi Guys

    First short question, before we go in detail:

    Is traffic shapping on lagg supported? yes or no?
    if yes, also with VLANs?

    regards tohil

      https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/interfaces/lagg.html#lagg-and-traffic-shaping

      "Due to limitations in FreeBSD, lagg(4) does not support altq(4) so it is not possible to use the traffic shaper on LAGG interfaces directly. vlan(4) interfaces support altq(4) and VLANs can be used on top of LAGG interfaces, so using VLANs can work around the problem. As an alternate workaround, Limiters can control bandwidth usage on LAGG interfaces."

      Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
      When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, and device or disk speed.

        @steveits

        Thanks for your fast answer.
        But with multiple VLANs on the lagg, I cannot Set an WAN download Bandwith for shaper on LAN vlans wirhout also limiting lan to lan traffic.

          This statement is correct isn't it? LAN-to-LAN will also limited, because the egress traffic on an interface will match the shaping rules. This means LAN-to-LAN will be handled like WAN-to-LAN Traffic.
