Basic Info: How To Set Upload Limit For Single LAN Host
This seems like a ridiculous question, but this is just not working for me.
How do I set up a limiter to limit the upload speed of a single host on my LAN? Step-by-step?
For instance, say I have a machine on my LAN and it is uploading to a remote host. How do I set up a limiter to reduce the bandwidth of that upload.

What did you try?
We cannot critique your setup if you don't share it.
What I was really looking for was no so much a critique as a set of step-by-step instructions?
But… NM, got it working.
It is worth noting that if you have existing data flows, i.e. an upload or download stream already in progress that you would need to reset the states for a new limiter to affect that. Sadly, that would break your upload/download in some case, but in other cases, it will simply halt for a short while and then resume.

This is the best write-up I've seen so far.
