      Hello All,

I have been trying to configure the Squid to use LDAP authentication without much success. Just wondering if someone can help.

      I have an OpenLDAP Server.

      My settings are

      Authentication method : LDAP
      LDAP version : 3 (I have tried with both 2 & 3)
      Authentication server : xx.xx.xx.xx
LDAP server user DN : cn=Manager,dc=xxxxxxxx,dc=com
      LDAP password : xxxxxxxxx
      LDAP base domain : dc=xxxxxxxxx,dc=com
      LDAP search filter : (&(uid=%s)(ou=People))

With the above settings I don't see anything on LDAP Server log

Changing the last two lines to

      LDAP base domain : ou=People,dc=xxxxxxxxx,dc=com
LDAP search filter : <blank>I see

      slapd[15439]: get_filter: unknown filter type=48

You help to solve this would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks
      Green</blank>
