      i have an internal website 192.168.100.76:8080/xyz/ i would like my Lan users access it through http://xyz.com

        That's certainly easy enough to do.  Just set up a host override on the DNS server.

        PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
        i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.

            The error message is pretty clear. You should know what belongs to an IP address and what not, if you don't learn it.

              so tell me how to solve this and make my scenario work  ?

              i need  http://192.168.100.76:8080/xyz/ to be translated to http://xyz.com

                What you want, can only be achieved with a proxy.

                To make it less complicated, configure your web server to (also) listen to http://xyz.com.
                Then set the host override with "xyz.com" in the Host box and only "192.168.100.76" in the IP Address field.
