      Hello Community,

I would be required by my ISP/hoster to add an IPv6 link-local address to my WAN interface of my pfSense VM so I can get my router prefix running, how to do so? The GUI won't allow it.

You don't. It should already be on any IPv6 capable interface. Go to Status > Interfaces. There should be a line that starts with IPv6 Link Local, followed by an address starting with fe80. That's your link local address.

PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 64 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.
        UniFi AC-Lite access point

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

              Yes and it's Hyper-V. IPv6 is enabled. LAN-interface has a IPv6 link-local address.
