So I have a somewhat atypical setup as far as I understand it. I have the pfSense router acting as a router for several devices on one network segment. It's WAN port is attached to a different network segment, that has an upstream router that provides all traffic to the pfSense box as though it was a consumer DMZ.

Normally, and in the past, I have had no issue entering the WAN IP or hostname into a browser and getting the admin web UI on the separate segment, let's call it the secondary segment and call pfSense LAN the primary segment. I hadn't changed any settings whatsoever, and today it suddenly comes up as "the site can't be reached took too long to respond". If I try it from one of the systems in the primary segment, typing in the LAN gateway address for that segment, it works just fine as one would expect. Can't figure out why it's ignoring me on the WAN port. If I throw the WAN IP into the browser on the primary segment it STILL works just fine. And nothing on the secondary segment clients has changed either. Really hoping someone can point me in the right direction here. No other weird network issues have cropped up, and ideally I need the router interface to work from the secondary segment. Traversal from the secondary segment to the primary one and back seems unaffected otherwise.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help.
