No WAN IP on new PfSense Box
-
 Already did that many times, sir, still not successful. How can i spoof the mac address of my old pfsense router? transfer to this new one
-
 That's probably not your issue. What do your logs say when trying to fetch an address?
-
 No logs, just the wan have empty ip address. The lan have default 192.168.1.1
-
 Use you laptop in place of pfsense wan and see if it works directly.
 Is this dhcp? pppoe?
-
 @netblues Yes it works directly from modem to laptop. yes dhcp. here's my setup: MODEM------>PFSENSE WAN (no wan ip received), PFSENSE LAN------>LAPTOP I'm using Mini PC X30G-N2810 as pfsense with 2 embeded realtek lan port!

 Did you uncheck the Block private networks and loopback addresses in the Interfaces / WAN tab?

 @gemrock said in No WAN IP on new PfSense Box: @netblues Yes it works directly from modem to laptop. yes dhcp. here's my setup: MODEM------>PFSENSE WAN (no wan ip received), PFSENSE LAN------>LAPTOP So no issue with mac address and need to spoof it too. Do a packet capture on your wan and see what is going on
-
 @ronpfs sir, I can ping the pfsense default lan too. 192.168.1.1 :(
-
 @netblues I can't capture packets, can't ping the 192.168.1.1 default pfsense ip

 What do you mean "no logs"??? Status - System Logs - DHCP. All DHCP client messages are logged there. You're saying there is nothing at all? Also, what do you mean by "I can't capture packets"??? Diagnostics - Packet Capture. The tools are there. Use them.
