Enrolled to a startup and one former employee left the company with great anger (fired by boss due to lazy work ). Now the PC is protected with password and we don't know what is.

@nuceomgz Format the drive. If she was lazy, there is nothing to be salvaged

Was the drive encrypted - if not pull the drive out an add it to a different machine, or use external dock.. They sell them for like 20$ to make it easy to read drives.. They really are a must have sort of tool for shop. You can read whatever is on that disk... Unless the drive or data was actually encrypted the OS only keeps someone from logging into the OS.. Doesn't stop physical access to the data on the drive.

            Something like this
            https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-External-Docking-Station-DS-UBLK/dp/B00IKAQ538

If the drive was actually encrypted or data was then your more than likely SOL.

If the drive is not crypted and you talking about OS password you can just boot some random Live Linux DVD (Ubuntu or anything you want) and copy the data to a USB Drive of your choice.

Call him/her for asking the password,or log into another acount (MS or Super Account ,Guest Account).
And as for the other ways, using reset disk to remove the password for the locked cmputer.

This is not an issue dude... WHAT is the OS exactly? Windows 7, windows XP?

Unless the disk was actually encrypted its childs play to access the files.. Or even just reset their password via windows..

But this is really outside what is normally discussed here - you be better off on a windows forum..
