Pfsense blocking Playstation network on my ps4 and 3 and other phone apps

So what exactly is not working now.. Your playstation says what when you try and access the playstation network? But its normal connectivity test passes.
We are not talking what nat it reports or setting up any forwards for games, etc.

This is what im getting

It says your login is failing. Everything else is okay.
Instead of using WiFi, what happens when you hardwire it into the network?
-
Ok from that looks like your connection is good, just having problem signing in... So what does the status it says you can check say?
Also your speeds are wow crappy!!! 17.5Kbps upload?? WTF?? 1.5mbps down - what do you expect to do with that sort of connection? You would prob have better speeds hot spotted over your phones cell connection..
Maybe your connection is just so saturated that you can not login... What are you speeds suppose to be? What speeds do you get with a wire?

when i use the router on its own it signs in every time with 30 down 19.5 up

Sounds more like a WiFi issue than a pfSense issue.

thats when i change over to my old router provided by plusnet works with wifi just fine then

That's not what I asked you to do.
FWIW, I rarely use WiFi for connections like these. I hardware EVERYTHING. I am lucky that I live in a ranch-style house with an unfinished basement. I have wires running through the basement to every room that needs a connection. The few things that are not wired are usually the mobile devices. But everything else, including my PS4 is hardwired.
The devices you're having problems with, are they all using WiFi? Or are any of them hardwired?

I tried with ethernet on ps4 get the same problem
Here is ps4 with outbound nat rule in place

Do the following:
1 - Reset pfSense to default. Do a basic configuration (no changes to rules, adding packages, etc.; just enter basic settings to get it on the network). Configure for your PPPoE. Do nothing else.
2 - Reboot all of your network gear from the ISPs drop to your PS4.
3 - Test the PS4.The error is a login error. Did you try re-entering your login credentials?
-
yes and like i say it works fine with the plusnet router
-
And what speeds do you get with this other router?

Sounds very much like a WiFi issue, not a pfSense issue.

From the plusnet site looks like lowest broadband connection is 10mbps - your showing 1.5mbps - that is just HORRIBLE!!!
Pfsense doesn't block anything out of the box.. Nothing.. Pfsense doesn't care or even know if the traffic is wired or wireless... You have something wrong that is not pfsense related.
If pfsense broke playstation network connectivity... The forum would have a ddos from all the complaints ;)
But pfsense for sure can help you figure out what is going on... Do a sniff for your Playstations IP, set the packet limit to 0... Then sniff while you try and do your playstation test.. Then post up this pcap, and we can take a look see.

so why are you seeing 22mbps down and 2mbps up with the other router?
