2.4.5_1 much higher RAM usage than 2.4.4_p3 with no packages



  • Same config.
    Alix APU2 with 2 GB of RAM

    2.4.4_p3
    Using 20% of 1870 MiB RAM

    2.4.5_1
    Using 70% of 1870 MiB RAM

    • Tested across many firewalls, same result, post upgrade, much higher RAM usage
    • No packages installed
    • Running ZFS file system
    • Tried rebooting, same high RAM usage

  • It looks like a larger amount of RAM is taken up for paging, couild this be ZFS file system?
