Cannot update 2.6.0 devel versions anymore
-
I have upgraded to 2.6.0.a.2021209.1125 successfully .
After that I cannot update further to any other 2.6.0....versions.
I get this error:
Unable to update repository pfSense Error updating repositories! ERROR: Unable to compare version of pfSense-repo
I also cannot switch back to RC train, it states that I'm running a newer version.
The Snaphots page https://snapshots.netgate.com/amd64/pfSense_master/installer/
shows newer versions of 2.6.0... @jimp can you please advise?
Thank you

Don't call out or tag specific people in a post

Sorry if I bothered you, I've called people before, but I will honor your wish next time.

I read that topic, but in my case, I didn't update by mistake, I upgraded on purpose. I want to continue to be on development train, to be on 2.6.0.
The issue is I cannot get any further updates.
Can I do something to receive updates for 2.6.0 further? I mean it's a little bit unclear why there is a 2.6.0 train, that updated only once. It was a mistake that this train appeared? Can you please explain ?
Thank you for your time

It's OK to tag someone like that when they are already participating in a thread, but the problem is calling someone out who isn't involved in the thread already. Not everyone has time to monitor the forum constantly and participate, and there are multiple developers and other employees around the forum who can help, not just one person who gets tagged.
As for the 2.6.0 issue, the other thread covers how to get back to 2.5.0-RC, 2.6.0 is not ready for general use yet, nobody is actively testing it until after 2.5.0 is released.

Thank you for explaining, I tagged you due to your response on the other thread, so I though you are inline with what the issue was.
So I think for 2.6.0 I should wait for you or other devs to announce the start of the development on the next version, although I see some snapshots here https://snapshots.netgate.com/amd64/pfSense_master/installer/
But I will trust your word for it.
And again, sorry to have bothered you.
