    USB ports, what can we do with them?

      Besides the console access, what can be done with these? Can you plug a usb drive into one and share it, without granting access to either the LAN or OPT ports?

        I used it to install pfsense. I suppose you could file share in FreeBSD, though I don't know why you'd bother. It's just like any USB port in any computer.

          I use one of the USB ports on the Netgate appliance to communicate with my UPS via the NUT package.
