      Hello everyones,
I having problem with my router (a Chinese fanless pc with Celeron J4125 with double Realtek RTL8168 lan and 8GB of RAM) bought on amazon italy.

At least once a time at day - or often when I do some changes on firewall rules - it crashes (it become not pingable and all DHCPs on vlans stops working).

How can I check if there are some hardware fault? Is there a log where I can find the cause of these crash?

      Thanks

If pfSense crashes it usually provides a crash report at next startup. There is a link shown on the dashboard.

Otherwise check out the system log.

@viragomann Thank you for the reply.
I checked in sys log but I only found the information of the reboot.
So, next time I have to connect a monitor and see what happened?

          Thanks again

If it was a software crash there would usually be some sort of crash report shown when you reboot it. If it is hardware there may not be. The only place you might see anything would be at the console when it happens. If it has a serial console you could log that output on some other machine.
