Can't access web-UI after upgrade from 2.7 to Plus 23.01

Maybe just bad timing on my part but I got me a VPS the other day and am installing pfSense 2.7 on it. After doing the upgrade to plus, I can't access the web-ui anymore. The VPS only has one NIC.

Can I force an upgrade to the latest RC of 23.05 via ssh?

When I am trying going from 2.6 to 23.01 on that VPS, I get an "unable to check for updates" just for the upgrade, all other updates are available. Maybe I used an already used token?
Maybe @stephenw10 has an idea.

Also I can't install any packages.

Make this NIC being the LAN interface and set up the
WebGui to it.

You can try out that but if you have a physical contact to
that server you may try out serial console also.

That is all done but as a WAN-interface, wireguard is the LAN.

Still there are problems with doing the upgrade.

If you have done this to often wait a while and try it again
the cert. lease time is gone! So if you try it again
later it should be running.

from 2.7 to 23.01
There is a PHP version mismatch due to different PHP
versions in the both installations.

I am running 2.7 Devel and can update and upgrade
but only for 2.7 and so I wait until the both versions
will be coming with the same PHP version in it.

From 2.6 to 23.01 and then to 23.05 was running only
nice with a fresh install of 2.6 and then upgrade and upgrade once more again, and then installing all packets!

But as today this might be the best option for me.

That's not valid unless it was a 2.7 snapshot from Feb 15th or earlier because of the php change. You should be able to recover by running a full forced pkg reinstall if that is what you did.
