Conflict between VoIP and online gaming
-
Somehow, I have a rule in my outbound NAT that is needed for VoIP to function. If I disable the rule, the phone still rings but both sides can't hear anything. BUT when the rule is enabled, I can not play online the same game with 2 PCs. Only one PC is able to connect to the game. I read that this has to do the ports the game uses and if they get randomized or are static. Also I can connect both PCs to the game when using a VPN client. But I need to fix this.
The rule that makes the difference is shown in this screenshot with the description "Auto created rule - LAN to WAN". I believe this rule was created when I used the traffic shaper wizard. Any ideas what I can do to allow both gaming and VoIP? Thanks. -
@snitem
So limit that rule to the VoIP traffic only. You can do this either by limiting the source or destination IPs or ports.I don't expect, that your VoIP devices are spread around the whole /16 range. Also they won't use any destination ports.

@viragomann Thanks, I adjusted the source address and mask to match my VoIP setup and now everything works!
