Using Netgate 4100.
GUI shows current version at 23.09. After I manually select the version refresh button, does it show 23.09.01 is available. I select the update page but no update option is available (it only shows 23.09 with status "up to date")
I did a GUI console "pkg-static upgrade -y" and reboot - no success (same as above).
Nothing I see in the update logs showing a related issue .
Disk space is fine (95G free)
RAM is at approx 40%Any help insight to resolving this is appreciated.

Connect to the actual command line, so SSH or console, then try to upgrade there with:
pfSense-upgrade -d
You will see far more error output showing what the issue might be.

Hey thanks for the fast reply Steve.
As suggested, I just logged on as root, performed the upgrade (results below) but am seeing exactly the same issue.

Ok sorry - so it is hot up here and it must be getting to me.
On the Update page, I manually changed from 23.09 to 23.09.01 and was offered with the update option. I thought in the past, this may have been automatic based on the current version? Thanks again for your effort Steve.

Yup in the past it used to automatically switch branches to the current version but that has a long history of causing problems with incorrect pkgs being pulled.
Starting from 23.09 you will see the current version offered on the dashboard but need to manually select the new branch to opt-in. Thus preventing users installing a package form the wrong branch accidentally.

I must say, more and more services/industries today can definitely take a lesson here on how to do professional and timely support. Excellent!

Have you attempted pkg clean?
