Surprise power outage during an update left my SG-1100 unable to boot.
I downloaded and etched the netgate installer onto usb, and ran usbrecovery via puTTy.
Installer starts normally, but continuously fails to hit the internet to download installation files.
<Cannot reach Netgate Servers, Please verify your network settings>
I have left the default settings in place, and verified the that LAN IP 192.168.1.x/24 is different than the router IP, which the SG-1100 WAN port is directly connected to.
What other steps can I try to configure the SG-1100 to reach out to the internet during this process?

are you sure your ISP equipment is up and running with connection to ISP equipment?

@The-Party-of-Hell-No Indeed, I am logged into the ISP modem, it shows as up and running, and this laptop is connected to the internet through it.

But is it a different subent? That would still conflict if they are using different IPs in the same subnet.

@stephenw10 excellent point. Turns out I was still on it, fixed that and the install went smoothly from there.
              Thanks for the response!
