-
This thread is a spin-off from:
https://forum.netgate.com/post/1198410I am seeing pfS router spontaneous reboots after 24.11 upgrade (never had this issue before)
Just FYI and also looking for users with similar problems to help troubleshoot.
TIA

@chudak
Can you add more details ?Is your device an x86, x64, or amd, or arm ?
Mention also the NIC device driver, like 'igc', or 'em', or 'ix', and 're'.Example : if you use a x64, as I do, then we both use an exact, bit for bit identical copy of pfSense- which will exclude 'the software' as a possible issue.
This means also that only our local "settings" differ.Also : what (pfSense) packages are you using ?

Did you manually edit the MDS Mitigation value? Because
VERW
is invalid. Might be a clue to something odd happening. -

It's set in Sys > Adv > Misc: MDS mode.

Ah, OK VERW is a valid setting there. But disabled is the default. Try setting that.

I have this:

Right so try setting it disabled. I doubt it will make a difference but it's a non-default setting so worth trying.
