Probably not the right category, but - Webconfigurator of brand new Netgate 4200 needs to be restarted to restore ability to login
-
Good afternoon,
Trying to install our Netgate 4200 that we received yesterday but during initial setup lost the ability to login on my second attempt to run the setup wizard. Reset failed (because I had pushed the power button) "un-pushed" the power button, router reset seems to be stuck.
Swapped the Netgate with a standby OpenWRT based router, back up and running in 10 mins.
Tried to reset the Netgate 4200 again, this time successful > Connected through the other router to the internet, no issues after tweaking the DNS settings (which I did the first time as well). Since it seemed to be running continued with setup, login hardening, certificate creation, OVPN setup, firewall rules > lost ability to login again. Same login hardening as my Netgate 1537, so pretty sure I know what I'm doing. Logged in with Putty and the console... router not crashed it responded to the login and gave the usual options, restarted the webconfigurator > able to login to the router again. I have the sys config file if anyone wants to take a look at it and tell me what is wrong? Or is this something I should RMA to Netgate?
Thank you,
David B.

Hmm, any errors show in the logs?
How were you connected to it during the setup?
