Hello, I'm a new poster on the forum and I have searched these at multiple places before I decided to make an account and post.

I currently am running the 64-bit Snapshot from "Wed Sep 29 21:59:05 UTC 2010"

I am having a problem with Squid and BandwidthD. I have attempted to install them from the package manager. They both install fine; they show up in the webgui. The problem is they wont start. BandwidthD does absolutely nothing when I try to start the service. No log, nothing. It is as if no command is sent. I tried to manually run BandwidthD and got a reply of "Command not Found". Squid will start for a few seconds and crashed. Below is from the logs.

I am also currently running this on ESXi 4.1 and after trying different methods I revert to a snapshot.  I had no issues on the snapshot from August 17th other than BandwidthD.

      Any ideas?

I am also secretly testing this with ~50 users. QoS with Layer-7 seems to be working fine though.

The squid package on amd64 is quite broken lately, something that happens (not sure what) when the packages are automatically compiled nightly is affecting the build.

Rolling back won't help - the package binary on the package server is the problem. It would be the same on the old build when it reinstalls (unless you're talking about a VM snapshot…)
