      Hi,
I tried to use squid to cache but when I installed squid. Internet begin very long. (average 500kbits with 30 users, 30sec for a website). Then, I tried to remove the shaper and now, it worked but I don't have the shaper anymore. If I make the shaper again (with the wizard), internet begins very long.

Is it possible to have the shaper and squid at the same time?

      I am on :
      2.0-BETA4 (i386)
built on Thu Nov 11 22:40:13 EST 2010
      FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE-p1

Yes but you have to tweak your shaper.

How can I do that? I read a post for 1.2.x but well, it doesn't work for me or I do something wrong.

I have to change the parameters in squid? because all my bandwith go in default.

Just don't answer if you are not in the mood would be better...

I searched but well, I just find this :

                      http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,14436.0.html

But, it doesn't work. It redirects all my internet traffic to the webgui port 1337 or don't work if I disable the redirection of the webgui port.

                      Then, I tried:
                      http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,27007.0.html

Well, the captive portal doesn't work in this condition.

                      Any advices?
